Amina started her career in the industry as an automotive designer at Chrysler. Under direction of Ralph Gilles and Tim Anness, she worked on a broad spectrum of pre-production and concept exterior and interior programs.

After four years at Chrysler, she headed West and joined frog design in San Francisco. There, she was one of the foundational co-authors of the Collective Action Toolkit. After frog, she joined Casper Asmussen to lead the design behind the award-winning Aether Things' Cone.

She spent three years as Lead Industrial Designer at Yves Behar's fuseproject, before joining NIO's San Francisco design studio.

She also published BREAKING IN®: Product Design and had the great honor to be the Product Design Jury President at Cannes Lions. Amina has degrees from College for Creative Studies (BFA) and California College of the Arts (MBA). Amina was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
